A cat cafe is a unique establishment that combines a traditional coffee shop with a space where customers can interact with resident cats. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee while a friendly cat sits beside you, or unwinding after work while petting cats. Cat cafes provide a relaxing environment where cat lovers can enjoy beverages, food, and feline companionship all in one place.

How does our cat cafe work?
Cat-titude Cat Café has two completely separate areas: The Cafe Area: Where food and beverages are prepared and served. The area is free to visit with food and drink on offer to purchase. The Cat Lounge: A dedicated space where cats roam freely and customers can interact with them. This includes our cat-proof garden and the cat cave where the cats can go if they want some quiet time. Visitors pay to visit the cat lounge for 1.5 hours.
Where do the cats come from?
Our cats come from owners can no longer care for them. All cats are carefully selected based on their temperament and ability to thrive in our cat cafe environment.
Are the cats available for adoption?
No. Our cat cafe has 8 residents who permanently live on the property.
Visiting & Booking
Do I need to book in advance?
While walk-ins are often welcome, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially during weekends and holidays. Pre-booking guarantees your entry time and helps us manage capacity to ensure both cats and visitors have a comfortable experience. Reservations are limited to maintain a calm environment.
How long can I stay?
Our cat lounge sessions are for 1.5 hours long. If you'd like to extend your stay, please speak to a member of staff, and depending on bookings we will be able to accommodate for a small charge.
Is there an entry fee? Why?
Yes. Our ticket cost is necessary to: - Cover the costs of caring for the cats (food, litter, veterinary care) - Pay caring staff members - Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment - Cover utilities and business expenses
Can I just visit the cafe without seeing the cats?
Absolutely! The cafe area at street level is free to enter. You can purchase our delicious food and drinks without going to the cat lounge.

Age Restrictions & Children​​
Are children allowed?
Yes we welcome guests of all ages. Child 0-5 are limited to ensure that the cats continue to have a calm environment. Children aged 6-16 must be accompanied by an adult and receive a juice with their individual ticket (free juice doesn’t apply to group tickets).
Can I bring my baby?
Of course. However please note that we do not have a baby changing facility on site.
Health & Safety
How do you ensure food safety with cats present?
We have been awarded a food hygiene rating of 5. Cat cafes maintain strict separation between food preparation areas and cat areas: - Completely separate rooms with no shared access - Multiple door systems to prevent cats from entering food areas - Regular inspections to ensure compliance - We also source some ready-made food from outside vendors
Are the cats healthy and vaccinated?
Yes! All cats: - Receive full veterinary examinations before entering the cafe - Are spayed/neutered - Are up-to-date on all vaccinations - Receive weekly health checks and monitoring - Are treated for fleas and parasites - Have regular veterinary oversight
Rules & Guidelines
Can I pick up the cats?
No. Let the cats come to you and interact on their terms. This is for several reasons: - Cat comfort and consent - Safety for both cats and visitors - Reducing stress on the cats - Preventing injury
Can I feed the cats?
Yes. Even though our cats are on carefully controlled diets for their health. We offer limited treats for you to purchase and offer to our cats. Speak to a member of our team to find out more.
Can I bring toys or treats for the cats?
While the thought is appreciated, most cafes don't allow outside toys or treats to: - Maintain dietary control - Prevent choking hazards - Avoid introducing germs - Prevent toy-related conflicts between cats
What are the basic rules when visiting?
- Sanitise your hands before entering and after leaving - Keep voices respectful and movements calm - Don't disturb sleeping cats - Let cats approach you - Keep food and drinks away from cats - Follow staff instructions - Close doors carefully - Report any concerns to staff immediately
Can I bring my own cat?
No. Cat cafes don't allow personal pets because: - It could stress both resident and visiting cats - Disease prevention - Territorial conflicts - Insurance and liability issues
Can I bring my support dog?
While legally required to allow service animals, cats will typically give dogs a wide berth, which may affect your experience and the cats' comfort.

Can I book a private party?
Yes! Our cat cafe offers: - Birthday parties - Corporate events - Bridal/baby showers - Team building events - Private sessions Group size limits typically apply. Contact us for pricing and availability.
Do you offer any special events?
Yes. We will be offering a number of special events. Events will be promoted on our social media page and bookable on our website.
Are facilities wheelchair accessible?
Yes we have a side entrance that is step free, we also have: - An accessible bathroom - Wide pathways in the cat lounge - Accessible seating options Please let us know when booking your ticket, if you require wheelchair access or seating.

Memberships & Loyalty Programs
Do you offer memberships/discounts?
Yes we do. We currently offer:: - Monthly membership, 6 sessions for the price of 4 - Loyalty cards, available at the coffee shop (we offer one for the coffee shop and one for the cat lounge) - Family passes - Senior discount for Monday - Friday Soon we will be launching an annual membership.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes! Cat-titude Cat Cafe sell gift vouchers, perfect for cat-loving friends and family.

Where can I park?
- Nearby public parking - Street parking (check local restrictions) - Easy access to public transportation
What should I wear?
Comfortable, casual clothing - Avoid loose jewelry or dangly accessories - Consider cat hair (dark colors show less fur) - Avoid strong perfumes or scents
Can I take photos?
Yes, but: - No flash photography - Be respectful of other visitors' privacy - Don't chase cats for photos - Share on social media and tag us!
What if I need to cancel my booking?
That's fine, please let us know 24 hours in advance. We offer free cancellation 24-48 hours in advance, and rescheduling up to 12 hours before.
